LG cycling trainer uses the same methodology and tools used to assist pro cyclists, adapting them to the specific needs of different categories. In addition it guarantees the study of the year long racing calendar with the elaboration of an appropriate schedule according to specific goals. This can be updated following feedback collected in both training and competition. This includes also the possibility to use the latest training methods. LG aims to work with whoever lives cycling in a professional way (amateurs, juniors, under 23 and elite). Racing must be the most important goal.
It is impossible to reach the highest level, without knowing the past history of the athlete, without developing personal goals, without verifying the competition results. The past history is useful to understand what type of cyclist you are and what type of training you have done in the past years. From this, it is possible to start and develop a specific set of goals, both physiological and technical. It is absolutely essential to have a goal to reach. This must be achievable and specific. This will motivate the athlete to reach this in a determined time lap. Data feedback is necessary, to verify if the set goals have been achieved, to understand the level reached by the athlete, monitor his progress and to help set future goals. Physiological tests must be used to help this assessment.
Practicality and simplicity are key elements of these methodologies as they guarantee a feasible project.
